FAQs

Pricing: The pricing for your custom trip to Italy varies based on your destinations, duration of stay, and number of guests. After you submit an inquiry form and/or after our consultation call, we can provide an estimated budget per person.

Booking: To initiate the trip planning process, I require a 50% non-refundable, one-time, flat planning fee upfront to cover my efforts. The remaining balance is settled once your trip itinerary is finalized and fits your agreed budget. Please note that no planning work commences until the custom planning agreement is signed and the planning fee is paid. You are not obligated to book the proposed itinerary, as I respect your decision to select services aligned with your utmost needs. My planning fee compensates for the research and tailored insights provided to you.

Refunds/Cancellation: The planning fee and any tickets purchased through Martello Travel are non-refundable upon purchase. For other bookings, the cancellation policy is as follows: From 0-60 days before departure, the total cost is non-refundable. Please be informed that certain exclusive experiences have non-refundable costs upon booking, which we will discuss with you beforehand. We recommend obtaining travel insurance as, after 60 days, refunds are challenging to guarantee, even in extreme emergencies. Our cancellation policy remains in effect for uncontrollable situations like wars, pandemics, or external circumstances.

Airfare: Although we do not arrange flight bookings, we can help plan your schedule and recommend airports in Italy for your arrivals and departures. If needed, we can offer our personal opinions on specific airlines.

Restaurant Reservations: We handle restaurant reservations as part of our Full-Service Custom Travel Planning Package. We can recommend a selection of restaurants for each day of your trip and take care of the booking process for these locations or any restaurants you prefer.

I was offered a free villa in Hollywood, but I said no thank you, I prefer to live in Italy.
